Christie’s Magnificent Jewels live auction scheduled for July 9 in Hong Kong will top bill a rare 12.11-carat intense blue/IF diamond ring, according to a jewellery.net report.  
The auction house mentions that the marquise brilliant-cut internally flawless diamond with a sky-blue hue is from a distinguished private collector, and the piece is expected to fetch around $8 mln to $12 mln.
Another highlight of the sale is a 19.53-carat Burmese star ruby pendant necklace, which has a pre-sale estimate of around $2.3 mln to $3.5 mln.
