Anglo American Platinum appoints two non-executive directors

06 june 2023

Mkhwanazi has over 18 years of experience in the resources industry, including in South Africa, as well as in the United States and Australia.
Amplats said the appointment of Daley strengthens the technical skill set on the board as he is a mining engineer with more than two decades of underground, open-cut, smelting, refining, project, and commodity trading experience.
“As group director-technical for Anglo American, [he] leads the safety, discovery, and geosciences disciplines, mining, processing, business improvement, asset strategy and reliability, information management, and supply chain disciplines,” it said.
Amplats said Anik Michaud and Duncan Wanblad stepped down as non-executive directors with effect from 1 June 2023.
