Anglo American Platinum appoints two non-executive directors

06 june 2023
Anglo American Platinum (Amplats) has appointed Themba Mkhwanazi and Matt Daley as non-executive directors of the company with effect from 1 June 2023.
Mkhwanazi has over 18 years of experience in the resources industry, including in South Africa, as well as in the United States and Australia.

“As group director-technical for Anglo American, [he] leads the safety, discovery, and geosciences disciplines, mining, processing, business improvement, asset strategy and reliability, information management, and supply chain disciplines,” it said.
Amplats said Anik Michaud and Duncan Wanblad stepped down as non-executive directors with effect from 1 June 2023.
