An octagonal step-cut 21.38-carat sapphire in a platinum ring sold for $4.5 mn, a high estimate of $2.3 mn; and an 8.92-carat Fancy Vivid yellow-orange pear modified brilliant-cut diamond, which sold for $4 mn, high estimate $3.8 mn.
