Live-streaming trend increases China jewellery sales

The Beijing Consumers Association, a May 31, 2023 report, said 90 per cent of 4,112 respondents admitted to having browsed and/or purchased goods while watching live-streaming sessions.
The report also said that jewellery and cultural items account for 16.25 per cent of products sold via live streaming.
In China, live streaming continues to be a major channel for jewellery sales over the years. This trend is buoyed by new consumption habits as well as evolving trends that support fast fashion and daily-wear pieces.
