BlueRock Diamonds fails to publish annual report

04 july 2023

BlueRock Diamonds failed to publish its annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022 by 30 June 2023, which was the deadline according to the AIM rules for companies.

Trading in the company's shares on AIM was suspended on 24 February 2023.

The company owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine (Kareevlei) in the Kimberley region of South Africa.

Admission of the company's shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled if they remain suspended for six months.

BlueRock was placed into administration on 5 June 2023, and Allister Manson and Trevor Binyon of Opus Restructuring were appointed the joint administrators.

Operations at the mine remain suspended and negotiations are in progress for the restructuring of Kareevlei.
