Wesizwe Platinum has discovered several flaws in the Bakubung concentrator plant in South Africa as it prepares for hot commissioning.
A collective 1 530 tonnes of material were milled between June 5 and June 18.
However, defects such as lube system failure, excessive spillage on pulleys and trolleys and challenges with the hydraulic pump were identified.
"Wesizwe Platinum is working tirelessly to ensure that the experienced defects are attended to, and resolved urgently for the goal of commissioning our concentrator plant," said the platinum miner.
