Gold production in Russia increased by 9.5% in June

Gold production in Russia in June 2023 increased by 9.5% year-on-year and by 21.7% compared to May of this year, according to Rosstat data cited by TASS.

In general, in the first half of 2023, gold production increased by 10.8% compared to the same period of 2022.

The production of primary precious metals in Russia in June increased by 5.7% year on year.

The output of primary aluminum increased by 3.3% compared to June 2022 and by 4.3% compared to May 2023. In total, in January - June 2023, aluminum production increased by 7.5%.

Rosstat did not provide absolute value and volume data.
