Wesizwe Platinum, a miner of platinum group metals, has resumed operations at its Bakubung Platinum Mine, located in South Africa.
Operations at the mine were suspended last month as a result of an unprotected strike by workers.
The miner said it had since struck an agreement with its workers to call off the strike.
“Going forward, all matters of this nature will be handled in terms of a collective agreement to be signed between the employer and the employee representatives within 30 days of ending the strike,” said Wesizwe.
The miner was unable to disclose any additional information regarding the agreement or the specific demands of the workers.
