India's Tata Group company Titan's jewellery unit Tanishq is expanding its presence in Gujarat by opening 10 more stores in the State very soon.

Inaugurating Tanishq’s renovated 12,000 sq ft showroom at Satellite, Ahmedabad, CK Venkataraman, Managing Director, Titan Company, said, “We are expanding our presence in important states, including Gujarat. Our main focus is on local and national jewellery preferences. Currently, Tanishq has 18 showrooms in Gujarat and we are planning to take this number to 28 by the end of this financial year.”

Earlier in August Titan announced its plans to expand 'Mia by Tanishq' jewellery stores to around 200 across India by the end of the current financial year.

It currently has 125 stores, up from 40 about two years ago. On August 25, four Mia stores were inaugurated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Mia has been a sub-brand from Tanishq, which is targeting the modern and younger mindset, and everyday adornment, workwear, and gifting.
