A small plane belonging to RioZim in Zimbabwe crashed on Friday, killing all six occupants, according to the country's ministry of transport.
The Cessna C206 aircraft was en route to the RZM Murowa diamond mine, located near Zvishavane.
RioZim said the deceased included the company owner, Harpal Singh Randhawa.
“His unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence have been the cornerstone of our organisation, and his legacy will forever be ingrained in the very essence of the company,” said RioZim chairperson Saleem Beebeejaun.
“While we mourn the loss of a great leader, we must also remember that the values, principles, and vision he instilled in us remain steadfast.”
He said they are committed to ensuring continuity in the running of the business.
