JGT Dubai Show moves to November 2024

10 november 2023

The Jewellery, Gem & Technology (JGT) trade fair in Dubai has shifted to a later date as the organizers aim to capture the important pre-holiday buying period.

Previously scheduled for February 6 to 8, 2024, the event will now run from November 12 to 14, 2024, Informa Markets and Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) said in a joint statement.

The show will also move to the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), instead of the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), where the first two editions took place in February 2022 and 2023.

Marco Carniello, IEG’s global exhibition director for jewelry and fashion explained: “As B2B [business-to-business] jewelry and gemstone buyers are striving for shorter sourcing cycles to meet customers’ fast-changing needs and preferences, the new show dates have been strategically chosen to allow for timely inventory restocking in time for the peak season.”
