The following is India's overall gross export and import statistics of c&p diamonds and rough diamonds according to the provisional statistics provided by the Gem & Jewellery Council of India for the period of APL 2023 – NOV 2023.

Cut & Polished Diamonds

The overall gross export of Cut & Polished diamonds at $1100.09 million in month of NOV 2023 is showing a decline of 11.88% as compared to $1248.41 million for the same period of previous year.

The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds at $265.29 million in month of NOV 2023 is showing a growth of 137.43% as compared to $111.74 million for the same period of previous year.

The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in SEZ at $242.7 million is showing a growth of 284.76% as compared to $63.08 for the same period of NOV 2023.

The overall gross Exports of Cut & Polished diamonds during APR 2023 - NOV 2023 stood at $11063.62 million, a decline of 27.95% as compared to $15355.09 million for the same period of previous year.

The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in SEZ at $971.74 million is showing a Growth of 58.78% as compared to $611.99 for the same period of APR 2023 - NOV 2023.

Rough Diamonds

Gross imports of rough diamonds at $314.26 million in NOV 2023 shows a decline of 76.38% compared to $1330.49 million of rough imports in NOV 2022.

Gross Imports of rough diamonds at $8793.90 million in APR 2023 - NOV 2023 have shown a decline of 24.74% compared with the imports at $11684.5 million for previous year.

Polished Lab Grown Diamonds

Provisional gross export of Polished Lab Grown Diamonds for the period Nov 2023 at $108.74 million shows growth of 3.16% over the comparative figure of $105.41 million for previous year.

Provisional gross export of Polished Lab Grown Diamonds for the period APR 2023 - NOV 2023 at $941.1 million shows decline of 23.35% over the comparative figure of $1227.77 million
