India’s overall gross export of Cut & Polished diamonds at $862.48 mn in the month of DEC 2023 is showing a decline of 32% as compared to $1270.36 mn for DEC 2022, according to data released by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds at $254.18 mn in month of DEC 2023 is showing a growth of 148.5% as compared to $102.3 mn for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in DTA at $49.46 mn is showing a growth of 23.4% as compared to $40 for the same period of DEC 2023.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in SEZ at $204.72 mn is showing a growth of 229% as compared to $62.23 for the same period of DEC 2023.
The overall gross Exports of Cut & Polished diamonds in APR 2023 - DEC 2023 stood at $11926.1 mn, a decline of 28.3% as compared to $16625.45 mn for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in APR 2023 - DEC 2023 amounted to $1495.33 mn, a growth of 43% as compared to $1046.06 mn for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in DTA in APR 2023 - DEC 2023 was $318.87 mn, a decline of 14.3% as compared to $371.84 mn for the same period of APR 2022 - DEC 2022.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in SEZ at $1176.46 mn is showing a growth of 74.5% as compared to $674.22 mn for the same period of APR 2022 - DEC 2022.
The overall gross import of Rough diamonds for DEC 2023 shows a decline of 14% at $1310.40 mn as compared to $1525.15 mn for the same month of 2022.
Gross Imports of rough diamonds at $10104.28 mn in APR 2023 - DEC 2023 have shown a decline of 23.5% compared with the imports at $13209.65 mn for previous year.
Provisional gross export of Polished Lab Grown Diamonds for the period DEC 2023 at $83.51 mn shows decline of 18.5% over the comparative figure of $102.41 mn for previous year.
Provisional gross export of Polished Lab Grown Diamonds for the period APR 2023 - DEC 2023 at $1024.6 mn shows decline of 23% over the comparative figure of $1330.18 mn for previous year.
