KAZ Minerals subsidiaries produced 403,000 tons of copper from January to December 2023, which is 6% higher than in 2022.
According to the KAZ Minerals press service, the achieved volumes were the highest for the entire period of operation of the holding company.
Over the past year, the group sold 445,000 tons of copper on the market – sales exceeded metal production by 10%.
The KAZ Minerals report also says that zinc output increased by 9%, and silver production was up 6%. At the same time, the group reduced gold production by 5%.
