ALROSA to hold pink diamonds auction on April 23-25

Russian diamond mining company ALROSA has announced that it will hold an auction of investment grade diamonds on April 23-25, 2024.

Bidding to be held online will start on April 23 at 10.00 Moscow time. The main auction lots will be 15 rare pink-purple stones that were mined and cut&polished in Russia over the past six years. These diamonds were first presented to the public in February.

The starting price for the most expensive pink diamond weighing 3.01 carats is estimated at $831,000.

In total, 65 lots of rare diamonds of regular and fancy colors of various cut shapes from the ALROSA Diamond Exclusive collection, with high color and quality characteristics, will be put up for auction. Among the most valuable lots is a while D color, VVS2 clarity pear-shaped diamond weighing 14.55 carats.
