India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) hosted the 3rd edition of International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS) in Jaipur powered by Gemfields on April 12-14.
The curated IGJS event was held at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre with an idea to showcase the best of Indian craftsmanship, featuring over 54 jewellery manufacturers and exporters presenting an array of diamonds, loose gemstones, as well as gemstone and diamond studded jewellery and silver jewellery.
"We remain steadfast in nurturing robust international trade relationships between India and global markets. This commitment is demonstrated through initiatives such as IGJS Shows and by actively enabling opportunities for our exporters through participation in international events,” said Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC.
Representatives of GJEPC noted that the show is a testament of India's jewellery manufacturing capability to serve the global market while also being highly successful, attracting a tremendous response from buyers all over the world.
IGJS 2024 witnessed 250 international buyers from 27 countries, such as Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, and Uzbekistan.
