Mining and metallurgical company Norilsk Nickel presented its anniversary 20th sustainable development report for 2023.

Despite the geopolitical and market challenges of the past year, the company left its priorities in the field of sustainable development unchanged, continuing to fulfil its environmental and social obligations, making a significant contribution to a number of Russian national projects in accordance with the goals of the UN Global Compact.

Among the important achievements of Nornickel over past year are occupational safety improvements, the implementation of environmental programs and a reduction in the carbon footprint, an increase in the company’s attractiveness as an employer, as well as support for employees and local communities in the regions of its operations.
