Gem Diamonds recovers another large stone at Letšeng

Gem Diamonds has recovered a 212.49ct Type II white diamond at its 70%-owned Letšeng mine in Lesotho.

This is the sixth greater than 100-carat diamond recovered at the mine to date this year.

The other five are a 118.74-ct Type II white diamond recovered on 30 April, a 169.15-ct Type II white diamond unearthed on 18 April, a 113-carat white Type II diamond recovered on February 17, a 295-carat white Type II diamond unearthed on January 8, and a 139-carat low-quality boart diamond recovered on January 17, 2024.
