Canada-based Sienna Resources, focused on exploring for and developing high-grade deposits, has announced the acquisition of two licenses - the Stonesthrow gold project in Saskatchewan and Case Lake West cesium and spodumene pegmatite project in Ontario.
The first new project consists of approximately 13,300 contiguous acres prospective for gold and directly borders Ramp Metals Inc’s licenses where it has discovered multiple zones of gold mineralization, including grades of up to 73.55 g/t.
Sienna‘s management is cautiously optimistic about the new acquisition but has announced no specific timelines for its further development.
Meanwhile in May, the company announced the acquisition of the new Case Lake West cesium and spodumene pegmatite project in Ontario which consists of approximately 2,200 contiguous acres of prospective areas and borders Power Metals Corp’s Case Lake cesium and pegmatite swarm discovery. These results achieved by Power Metals has also prompted an optimistic message by Sienna’s management.
“Sienna’s management is encouraged by these important results achieved directly bordering our property. Ontario is one of the most well-known mining regions in the world, and we are very pleased to have a large footprint in the heart of it,” said Sienna’s president Jason Gigliotti.
“Sienna has been building a strong portfolio of Canada focused assets in 2024 primarily in uranium and now for cesium and lithium. Sienna management plans to continue and build on this trend in the future.”
