Swarovski sets to conquer Asia with new Created Diamonds collection

31 july 2024

Following the launch of a new line of lab-grown diamond collection, Austrian jewellery maison Swarovski has set its sights on expanding into Asia. Building on the success of its Created Diamonds collection in the US, China and Japan, the company has announced a launch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As the company notes, the Created Diamonds collections feature exquisitely cut, high-quality Swarovski lab-grown diamonds, with each stone certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) according to the 4Cs of diamond quality – cut, colour, clarity and carat weight – with 100% recycled gold and silver.

The latest Galaxy jewellery range from creative director Giovanna Engelbert draws inspiration from the cosmos, featuring playful and creative designs that highlight the depth and beauty of diamonds. The 19-piece collection includes necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets in a dazzling array of diamond cuts, expertly crafted to capture and transform light.

Swarovski also celebrated the launch of its Created Diamonds collection with an event at its new luxury jewellery store, Chadstone, in Melbourne. The diamond offerings have also expanded in India.

“As Masters of Light since 1895, we are pleased to enrich our proposition with Swarovski Created Diamonds in India,” said Myrtille Clement-Fromentel, Chief Brand Officer.

He said that each stone of 0.18 carats or larger bears a laser engraving for authenticity and quality. The laboratory-grown diamonds in the Swarovski Created Diamonds Collections are of very fine quality and have a grading of G+ in colour and VS+ in clarity. Additionally, Swarovski’s proprietary Octagon cut, with 57 facets, adds an extra touch of brilliance and uniqueness.
