Russian jeweler from Yekaterinburg Viktor Moiseikin, the creator of the eponymous brand, presented jewelry collections at the 70th Bangkok Gem and Jewelry Exhibition, which opened on September 9 in the capital of Thailand.
One of the main exhibits of the MOISEIKIN company and the decoration of the exhibition was an Easter egg in the Faberge style, made of silver using the "Russian fastening" technology, with Ural malachites and amethysts. But the main attraction was a collection of earrings, pendants and brooches was presented under the name "Waltzing with the Wind Sakura" - with pink Sri Lankan sapphires and red-orange Mahenge spinel.
Another collection - "Russian Ball" - is a jeweler’s reflection on these ceremonial gatherings in the Russian Empire.
According to Moiseikin, many things have to be made in Russia, where the most experienced craftsmen are: "What is simpler we produce in Thailand, what is more complex - in Russia."
Thai princess Sirivannavari Nariratana, famous for her brand of silk clothing, was presented with a brooch from MOISEIKIN, made in the form of the princess's monogram in gold ribbons similar to silk using "Russian fastening". A Ural jeweler said that he is preparing a piece of jewelry for Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan in the form of a gilded silver brooch with a silhouette of a tiger.
The Bangkok exhibition of precious stones and jewelry will last until September 13. It is attended by 1 100 jewelry companies from more than 20 countries.
