JUNWEX show opens at VDNKh Expo in Moscow

Traditionally, the September edition of the JUNWEX, the most famous Russian jewelry exhibition, has begun on September 25 at VDNKh Expo (All-Russia Exhibition Center, earlier called the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements, VDNKh).  

This year, almost 500 jewelry manufacturing companies take part in the exhibition, including major Russia’s firms and brands such as Adamas, Yashma, Estet, MZSS, MEYUZ, Diamant, Platina, Krastsvetmet, Russkie Samotsvety (Russia’s Gems), Yuveliry Urala (Jewelers of the Urals), Kostroma Jewelry Factory, Aquamarine, Topaz, Adamant, and others.

In the JUNWEX Tech, a specialized technology section of the exhibition, the jewelry items and services (provided for the jewelry industry) by the companies like Sisma, Fasti Industriale, Vek, Steinberg Gallery, Clio, KovrovUpak, Lasso, PromTech, Ruta, Sapfir, Vek Factory, Jeweller Partner, Yuvin, Yumo, and others are displayed.

In the JUNWEX Watch section of the exhibition, a watch exhibition (with the participation of suppliers of non-jewelry watches), collections by world manufacturers and suppliers will be displayed, including OPTIM, Romanoff, TBN Time, Time&Technologies, Anlina, Inter-Chas, Continent TM, Maktime, Nika, Pojot, Poljot-Elita, Rustime, Slim Group, Style-Time, Chronolux, and others.

Based on a corporate agreement between the members of the Russian Jewelry Trade Club and leading Russian jewelry manufacturers, the exhibition aims at facilitating the signing of several key contracts for supplying and purchasing the entire necessary range of jewelry goods, ensuring their advantage in a competitive environment at the beginning of the jewelry season.

Every day, the participants in the exhibition demonstrate their new collections.

Krasnoe presents jewelry from the Life premium collection made of gold studded with natural gemstones, inspired by nature and multifaceted manifestations of its beauty. Grazia Department Store offers a new Italian collection made by FRABOSO. FILLART displays new Miro Cats collection with bright colors and abstract lines. Primossa shows its new Arakis collection based on the iconic Dune by Frank Herbert that reflects the fragility and value of nature.

Altair offers its New Year’s toys made of silver, a large collection of brooches and rings made for JUNWEX using sandblasting. The Grant jewelry factory’s new collections always delight everyone’s eye, this time they display the collection City Jungle Snake. Jewelry in the form of a snake - a symbol of the upcoming new year - attracts with its elegance and mystery.

Maxim Demidov doesn’t need to be introduced, and jewelry of this brand can be admired as works of art. Estet showed a new collection L’amour made with the use of mother-of-pearl. All visitors are fascinated by the Gevorkyan company’s jewelry that stands out for their exquisite workmanship, the beauty of flammeous tourmalines and multi-colored sapphires.

The RINGO company showed the RED LINE jewelry with nanoceramics and a new set of the Stone Flower collection. VIOLET offers a new silver Byzantine collection, with rich historical heritage of Byzantium.

Every day, jewelry industry meetings, business consultations and workshops are held at the JUNWEX exhibition as part of the business program for those interested. The Moscow edition of the Couturier of the Year international competition is held as part of the fashion program, with shows of famous jewelry brands, as well as the presentations of collections of fashion houses and designers.

As in previous years, RIA RosYuvelirExpert together with the Assay Chamber of Russia will award the prominent representatives of the jewelry industry. And traditionally, JUNWEX will hold Best Jewelry of Russia, the all-Russian jewelry competition, with the participation of the best jewelry craftsmen of the industry.

The JUNWEX exhibition is held from September 25 to 29, VDNKh, Pavilions 33, 55 and 57.
