Hari Krishna Diamonds to make history at UN Water Conference on 22-24 March

20 march 2023
The UN Water Conference, convened by the UN General Assembly, will take place from 22-24 March this year. The conference will take place at the UN Headquarters in New York.
The Indian diamond manufacturing company, Hari Krishna will make history as the only representative of the jewellery industry at the UN Water Conference, the first conference of its kind to take place in 46 years.
Hari Krishna established the Dholakia Foundation in 2014 to support society and preserve the environment through charitable conservation activities. A leader in water conservation projects, the foundation supplies high-quality water to the Indian population.
On a mission to lead a revolution in lake construction to eradicate the water crisis, Hari Krishna’s Dholakia Foundation recently formed its 111th-created ‘lake’ in India. The foundation’s formed lakes aim to eliminate drought, disease and economic hardship caused by acute water shortages.
The last UN conference on the subject of water took place in 1977.
