Norilsk Nickel volunteers cleaned the area of the Kharaelakh River

28 august 2023

The participants of the eighth ecological marathon named "Dashing", a part of the corporate project "Combine of Good", organized the cleaning of the Kharayelakh River area.

The "Dashing" environmental marathon has been held in all the territories of Norilsk Nickel's presence since 2016. The common cause of nature conservation unites more and more activists year after year. Only 130 people took part in the first marathon, this year there are already 565 of them. The main theme of this season is "Your habitat", the company's press service reported.

The promotion will last from June to October.

Volunteers and activists will have to go through several stages of the event. During the first part, teams should use social networks and other modern ways of communication to describe what the phrase "my habitat" means to them. The largest stage by volume named "Eco-action" will give volunteers the opportunity to develop and implement environmental projects together, which will be financed by Norilsk Nickel.

The third and final stage of the event will consist of interactive classes, online quests, and quizzes.

The winners of "Dashing-2023" will be awarded with certificates from Norilsk Nickel for 75,000, 100,000 and 150,000 rubles, which will be used for team-building and charitable purposes.
