India has become the leader of the anti–rating in terms of pollution by unassembled polymer waste - this is the conclusion reached by scientists from the British University of Leeds. Artificial intelligence helped them identify the most littered country.
According to the researchers, the population of India annually releases 9.3 million tons of plastic waste into the environment.
Nigeria and Indonesia took the second and third places, where plastic litter is 2.7 times less than that of India, according to nia.eco.
