The organizers of the forum “Arctic: Present and Future” reported that the event's resolution included 633 proposals, grouped into 12 thematic sections.

"All initiatives are classified by application as methodological or applied and collected into 12 thematic sections," the forum said in a statement, as cited by TASS.

A separate section of the draft resolution is devoted to proposals for updating the Arctic Zone Development Strategy and ensuring national security up to 2035.

Several proposals in the resolution also concern issues of infrastructure support and the integrated development of the Northern Sea Route. The document contains proposals on the need to maintain the current tax conditions for the implementation of anchor investment projects.

To develop shipping in the eastern sector of the Arctic, which is characterized by more difficult climatic conditions, it was proposed to formulate new requirements for ice-class vessels.

The XIV international forum "Arctic: Present and Future" was held on December 12-13, 2024.
