03 april 2025

The new Presidential Fund for Environmental and Natural Initiatives will help protect and preserve rare and endangered animals, as well as contribute to the environmental well-being of the Arctic and the volunteer environmental movement throughout the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said at a meeting of the coordinating committee for the support of environmental and environmental protection projects that among the foundation's tasks are the consolidation of ecology-related efforts of the public, business and government, support for educational projects in the protection of rare animals, plants and unique ecosystems, interaction with environmental volunteer movements and their support.

"The president recently spoke about the importance of ensuring the ecological well-being of the Arctic, [and] the Arctic zone. I think we will focus on this too," Patrushev said.
